Make it your size

Tap as you measure. A little less to keep in your head.

Let’s make it

one step at a time
  1. 01

Mix the ground pork or alternative filling with 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp ginger, garlic, finely chopped green onion, cornstarch, salt, and white pepper.

  2. 02

Place about 1 tsp filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold into a triangle or envelope shape, and press to seal.

  3. 03

Set the wontons on a parchment-lined or cornstarch-dusted tray.

  4. 04

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add wontons and cook for 3–5 minutes, until they float and the filling is fully cooked. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

  5. 05

In another pot, heat the chicken broth. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, sugar, ½ tsp ginger, and the white parts of the green onions.

  6. 06

Bring to a simmer, add the optional vegetables, and cook until tender, about 2–3 minutes.

  7. 07

Put cooked wontons in serving bowls, ladle the hot broth and vegetables over them, and garnish with the remaining green onion tops.

✳

That’s a good thing made.
Enjoy every bite.
